In a collaborative research initiative of the MoALD (Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development), titled "Civil Society collaboration in measuring impact of adaptation investments: the case of agriculture in Nepal," it features policy recommendations to support work for effective climate spending for meeting the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

(MoALD) has initiated evaluating key climate-relevant programs in collaboration with National Disaster Risk Reduction Center (NDRC). It was MoALD's first collaborative research with a local civil society organization (CSO) to examine the impacts of selected programs in helping the vulnerable farmers with particular focus on poverty and gender (MoALMC, 20181 ).
