"We're amazed once again by the generosity of the community," says a rep for the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington, which held its 24th annual Give More 24! online giving marathon Thursday, raising $3.6 million from more than 6,000 donors to support 216 nonprofits in the region.
The five organizations that raised more than $100,000 each in donations were: the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington, the Children's Center, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School, Share Inc., and FISH of Vancouver, reports the Columbian.
