A small-town Kansas community is looking for a new leader after its longtime executive director stepped down.
The Norton County Community Foundation is looking for an executive director to "provide vision, leadership, and management of all aspects of the organization," per its website, and "to be responsible for hiring and maintaining a qualified staff, overseeing the annual budget, and providing daily operational supervision," the Hutchinson News reports.
Melinda Davis, who has led the foundation since its founding in 1994, announced her resignation last week.
"I am incredibly proud of what the foundation has accomplished over the last 29 years," she said in a statement, per the Kansas City Star.
"However, it is time for me to move on and pursue new challenges."
The executive director will be responsible for hiring and maintaining a qualified staff, overseeing the annual budget, and providing daily operational supervision.
"The position offers a unique opportunity to partner with donors, non-profit organizations, and civic groups for the development of the community foundation and betterment of life in Norton County," the job description reads. Read the Entire Article
