A literary magazine published by Florida's Cape Coral High School has won first place in the literary magazine division of the American Scholastic Press Association for the second year in a row, the News-Press reports.
The 130-page Expressions is the school's official literary publication and has won first place for 10 years in a row under the guidance of retired English teacher Sue Propert.
"The fact that the students put that much time and effort into writing poetry and short stories, that are competition worthy and win awards, makes me feel great," journalism teacher Aaron Smoly tells the News-Press.
The magazine is published twice a year and is sold on Amazon for $18 with proceeds going to the school's Sunshine Fund, which helps families in need. Read the Entire Article
