The University of Kentucky is looking for a director of philanthropy to lead its major gift fundraising efforts, the Lexington Herald-Leader reports.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in business or a related field and at least two years' experience fundraising at a major gift level.
"You are indicating your commitment and expressing your commitment to our values," says the post on the university's website.
"With a primary focus on major gift fundraising at high giving levels, the incumbent will engage progressively more philanthropic giving conversations with major donors and prospects of greater capacity."
The director of philanthropy will also "provide mentorship, guidance, fundraising strategy (including prospect strategies and next steps), and ensuring that they are meeting their visit, proposal, and yield metrics," according to the post. Read the Entire Article
