Breakthru Beverage Group Showcases Its Growth, Leadership, Culture and Philanthropy in ...

"We are committed to being an industry leader in creating a culture where every individual is valued, respected, and can fully contribute their best selves."

So says Hillary Wirtz, the senior director of culture and inclusion at Breakthru Beverage Group, one of the largest alcohol wholesalers in the US and the largest broker in Canada, per Fortune.

Wirtz and her team have been working to make that happen since the company's founding in 2016, and they've just released the company's 2023 Corporate Social Responsibility Report.

Among other things, the report notes that Breakthruwhich has operations in 16 US markets and Canadainvested $2.1 million in enterprise-wide donations in 2017, supported 361 charitable organizations, and participated in 40 volunteer events.

"What makes me the proudest is not the money we provide, but when our associates get involved in giving their time to help and mentor students, take care of those in need, and preserve and clean our environment for the next generation," says Charlie Merinoff, Breakthru's co-chairman.

The report also outlines the company's "values-based, inclusive, and people-centric culture," which includes five associate resource groups, thousands of Culture & Inclusion training hours, and a coast-to-coast Culture Ambassador network Read the Entire Article
