When Bill Bone was hit by a car while riding his bike in Florida last year, he didn't know it at the time, but the accident would prove to be the final nail in his coffin.

His wrongful death suit against the driver is still pending, and Bone says he doesn't want the case to go to trial, reports the Tampa Bay Times.

"I don't want it to go to trial, and I don't want it to go to a jury," he says.

"I don't want it to go to a judge, and I don't want it to go to a jury."

That's because the Florida Supreme Court has ruled in Bone's favor in two previous cases, one alleging negligence on the part of the driver, and one alleging that the state didn't do enough to stop the car from leaving the scene of the accident.

Bone's wrongful death suit alleges that the driver didn't see Bone riding his bike, didn't slow down, and didn't stop at a red light, and that the state didn't do enough to stop the car and put a stop sign in front of Bone's bike.
