San Diego's Second Chance is known for its efforts to help at-risk youth turn their lives around, and on Thursday, the nonprofit will celebrate its success at its annual Legacy of Impact Gala.
The event, held at the Legacy Resort Hotel and Spa, is "an unforgettable evening promises music, delicious food, fun, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the community," Second Chance says in a press release.
"Most importantly, every dollar raised supports the impactful programs of Second Chance," which "disrupts the cycle of incarceration by helping at-risk youth and justice-involved people towards empowered self-sufficiency," the release says.
Tickets start at $250 and include free parking, a cocktail reception, and a gourmet dinner.

Empowerment Plan is a nonprofit aimed at helping countless homeless people find jobs. To combat the country’s homeless crisis, the Plan hires homeless people and teaches them how to make coats for the homeless suffering on the streets.
