Sphinx Works to Diversify the World of Classical Music as Funding Contracts.
Sphinx has launched six successful classical ensembles, commissioned nearly 100 works by composers of color, and grown an alumni network of nearly 1,500 musicians.
The loss of funding is part of an "extraordinary backlash and shift" against issues associated with diversity more broadly.
