Houston Food Bank has received a $700,000 grant from Bank of America to help fund the nonprofit's new expansion facility.
The facility will be designed to be a one-stop resource for the community, offering a suite of integrated services.
By 2035, Houston Food Bank expects the facility will allow it to double its annual food distribution from 150 million to 300 million pounds.
